  6. This portfolio is the FOURTH  of the series of humdreds of video 
  7. images I have created over the years in studying this location.
  8. The icons and graphic simplicity of the ancient artists conceales the
  9. intelligence and ingenuity of the creator. Everything was done with
  10. purpose and may contain hidden information.  
  11. The location has proven to be a solar observatory far older than the
  12. highly touted Anastazi sun dagger and significantly more complex.
  13. Since it's origins some 2,500 years ago, until nearly modern times 
  14. the location was considered sacred and revered and visited by priests 
  15. and shamen alike.  It is still considered a place of healing by some of
  16. the Natives.
  17. The location was brought in focus by the work of Harvard Professor
  18. Dr. H.B."Barry" Fell.  See SAGA AMERICA, sorry it's a book, not available

  23. THE LAST FEW IMAGES IN THIS SERIES HAD SUNSYMBOLS IN ATTENDANCE FOR THE
  24. INTERACTION OF SUN AND SHADOW FOR BOTH TIMEKEEPING AND FESTIVAL PURPOSES.
  25. THIS SERIES HAS NO SUNSYMBOLS.  INSTEAD, A SHEPHERDS CROOK INTERSECTING
  26. A CIRCLE OVERLOOKS THE DISPLAY.  DR. BARRY FELL SUGGESTED THAT THIS 
  27. WOULD INDICATE THE EQUINOX, NECESSARY FOR ANY ANCIENT CHRISTIAN TO 
  28. DETERMINE WHEN TO CELEBRATE EASTER.
  29. INDEED IT DOES AS THE SIX LINES IN THE FORGROUND ARE SPLIT BY SUN AND
  30. SHADOW ON THE EVENING OF THE EQUINOX.
  31. DR. ALAN GILLESPIE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON HAS DETERMINED THAT THE
  32. EVENT IS PREDICTABLY ACCURATE AND HAS MADE A WORKING COMPUTER MODEL.
  33. BY WITNESSING AND RECORDING THE EVENT A NUMBER OF TIMES, WE DETERMINED THAT 
  34. THE DEVICE IS PROPERLY READ WHEN THE SUN IS SETTING.  THE CREATORS OF THIS 
  35. DEVICE LEFT CLUES BEHIND ON THE BOULDER THAT SUPPORTS THE SHADOWMAKER.
  36. ANOTHER CLUE TO THE ORIGINS OF THIS TIMEKEEPER IS THE FISH SYMBOL CARVED 
  37. BY A BLADE ON THE SAME ROCK AS THE CIRCLE AND STAFF.
